Mad Rooster Beer Company Adds Bold Flavor to Fayetteville Ale Trail’s Tasting Adventure

We’re excited to introduce Mad Rooster Beer Company, the newest brewery in town and latest addition to the Fayetteville Ale Trail! Fun fact: they’re the first and only brewery on the Fayetteville Ale Trail that’s been a member since opening day.

Nestled in the southernmost part of Fayetteville, Mad Rooster’s delightful taproom (affectionately dubbed “The Roost”) expands the brewery radius for beer enthusiasts and adds an exciting new stop – #20! – to the Fayetteville Ale Trail. The doors officially opened on July 1, 2023, with an enormous 16 varieties of craft brews on tap – and two backup kegs for each! While most brewery boppers would consider that a healthy variety, the team at Mad Rooster already has plans to double that number within a year.

Even more wild: the brewmaster, Jeremy Hahn, also owns and operates Excalibur Brewing Co. in Spring, Texas and commutes regularly to keep both taprooms stocked with beer – no small feat when you consider the combined number of taps between the two. For Mad Rooster, though, it’s just common sense. The ultimate goal for the customer-focused brewery is expanding their selection to cater to the widest range of palates possible, ensuring there’s a little something for everyone to enjoy!

Mad Rooster’s family-friendly taproom where beer enthusiasts of all stripes can gather and enjoy is a welcome addition to the craft beer scene in Northwest Arkansas. The brewery itself is a family operation, co-owned by brothers with plenty of relatives working behind the bar too. Cyclists will be enthused to find that the front door of the brewery is less than a quarter-mile from the Frisco Trail on the Razorback Greenway, with plenty of bike racks outdoors and lots of cold drinks waiting inside! The team also jokingly refers to the Mad Rooster taproom location as “kayak friendly”, if you’re really adventurous.

You’ll find a large patio outside the bay door where friendly pups are welcome – you can even bring your own food in for now, until something more permanent develops! Until then, keep an eye on their socials for food truck pop-ups. Alongside their growing tap wall, Mad Rooster plans to expand this patio just in time for springtime sipping.

If you plan to make frequent visits, Mad Rooster Beer Co. has a Mug Club Membership that includes a personalized 17-ounce mug (kept at the brewery), $1 off pours, discounts on merch, beer-to-go and events, early access to new releases, and exclusive Mug Club parties! After one year, you get to take the Mug Club mug home with you forever.

Whether you’re a seasoned beer aficionado or a curious newcomer, Mad Rooster is a must-visit stop on the Fayetteville Ale Trail, so make your way to The Roost as quickly as possible! Stay connected with Mad Rooster Beer Co. through their website, Facebook, and Instagram, and keep an eye out for their future developments as they continue to grow.
