Hoppy Holidays on the Ale Trail

‘Tis the season for cheer, beer, and well…more beer. Luckily the breweries on the Fayetteville Ale Trail took care of the details for you! Here’s a round-up of the holiday happenings coming up at our local taprooms.

Now – Dec 5 | Christmas Angel Tree Adoption | New Province Brewing Company
New Province prides themselves on giving back to the community, and this holiday season is no different. This year, they are participating in the Salvation Army of NWA’s Angel Tree Adoption Program. With twenty kiddos on the tree this year, they need your help to make their Christmas dreams come true! Stop by the taproom and ask your beertender how you can adopt a child on their Angel Tree.

Dec 1 | Beer & Cheer Holiday Market | Ozark Beer Company
From 4-8pm, OBC is hosting their first Beer and Cheer Holiday Market! Get a jump start on your holiday shopping while supporting local artists. If you love crafts and craft beer, you’ll be excited to have it all in the same room. For sale will be a wide variety of items like baked goods, wall hangings, jewelry, and plenty of beer crafts.

Dec 2 | Winter Wrecker Release | Bentonville Brewing Company
Bentonville Brewing Compnay is releasing their Winter Wrecker right at open – 11am. Swing on by and give this delicious winter IPA a taste!

Dec 2 | Friendsgiving + White Elephant | Natural State Beer Company
Drop by for Friendsgiving — bring a side, dessert, bag of chips, something else or nothing at all to share. Snacks always go well with beer and friends! There’ll also be a White Elephant Exchange — bring a gift to partake in this hilarious-always-a-good-time gift exchange! If you bring a gift, you leave with a gift…. It just may not be the one you had your heart set on! Suggested spend is $15-$25, and the exchange will happen around 6:30pm. On top of that — a Toy Drive! Please consider bringing a gift to donate or better yet, order online and have it sent directly to the hospital. Click here for all the toy drive details.

Dec 8 | Christmas Movie Trivia | Columbus House Brewery
Save the date for Christmas Movie Trivia! To participate be sure to reserve a table for all members of your team, as there will be no walk-in seating available. ALL seats must be pre-purchased. Each reserved table comes with 1 drink per seat (so if you reserve a table for 6 it will come with 6 drink tickets, a table for 2 will come with 2). Outside food and costumes are highly encouraged (just no outside alcoholic beverages)! There will be beer (duh!), wine, hard cider, and a few warm holiday cocktails available!

Dec 11 | Holiday Sip & Shop Pop-Up | Columbus House Brewery
Ozark Knitting Company is setting up shop in Columbus House’s kid-friendly taproom to present their inventory in person. The Ruby Magnolia will also be there with their wares – jams and doggie bandanas! Taps will be open so you can sip and shop locally. Parking available in front of the brewery with additional parking in the gravel lot located directly next to the brewery’s patio space.

Dec 11 | Hop & Shop: Local Vendor Pop-Up Market | New Province Brewing Company
Local craft beer AND holiday shopping. Name a better pair! Expect to see Florence & Flint Cookie Co, The Bearded Lady, Little Bird Designs, The EverGreene Heart, and Parmelee Homestead Creations there. This intimate holiday market is the perfect one stop shop for personal (and locally made) gifts! Local Moh-tiv will also be onsite to make sure your belly is full during this fun holiday market.

Dec 14 | CRAFTed Christmas Ornament Class | Ozark Beer Company
Deck the halls with beers of Ozark! Local craft beer upcycling artisan, The Beerded Lady, will teach you to turn your favorite Ozark beer can art into a holiday ornament to treasure or share. It will take you 30-40 minutes to complete your ornament so aim to arrive at 7pm at the latest. All materials provided. $10 per person, ages 12 and up. Class is limited to 24 people so sign up now!

Dec 17 | The 2021 Core Christmas Party | Core of Arkansas
The Core Brewery Taproom will be hosting The 2021 Core Christmas Party on Friday, December 17th starting at 7 PM. As if partying for the holidays isn’t enough to bring you out, there will be a chili cook-off contest, an ugly sweater contest, live music, and $3.50 craft beers and seltzer to send you into Christmas with nothing but tidings of comfort and joy. And it’s completely FREE to attend. Join Core on the Friday before Christmas for a party that you will brag to your inlaws about.

Dec 31 | New Year’s Eve Party for Old People | Crisis Brewing Company
Does the thought of staying up until midnight give you the night terrors and cold sweats? Is the only ball dropping you can stay up for occurring in another country? Well, you’re in luck! Crisis Brewing is opening special hours New Year’s Eve from 2-8 with a free champagne toast at 6:00 with the London Ball Drop. Other surprises are in store…and if you’re a night owl, you could always stop by for your pre-party shenanigans.
