A Month of Oktoberfests in NWA

Oktoberfest season is upon us, and as we welcome a new batch of fall styles to our favorite tap rotations, there’s also a lot of revelry to look forward to. Get your beer drinking arm ready for celebrating a month of Oktoberfests in NWA!

Several members of the Fayetteville Ale Trail are reviving or beginning new Oktoberfest events during the months of September and October, including Natural State Beer Co., Ozark Beer Company, Bike Rack Brewing, GOAT Lab, and Puritan. Even without a party, several other breweries will add or soon add seasonal offerings to their beer rotation worth checking out – in case you need something you get you through the between times.

Save the date for these upcoming events:

Oktoberfest at Ozark Beer Company
Saturday, September 24th | beginning at 11am

All-day-long Oktoberfesting in the OBC taproom! Drop by anytime after 11am for bier, German food, live music, artisan vendors, and silly games.

Lagers & Lederhosen Oktoberfest at Bike Rack Brewing
Saturday, October 1st | 3-9pm

This lively event has a full itinerary planned, but you’re also welcome to come casually hang at any point during the day. The first 100 customers will receive a free dessert from the Spice Shuttle! Bike Rack will also be hosting a dog costume contest, wiener dog race, human costume contest, a dog adoption opportunity, barrel races, and live music. Smash Shack will be there bringing the vibes with beer brats, which you can munch while awaiting the giveaways happening throughout the day!

Oktoberfest Party at GOAT LAB
Saturday, October 8th | 4pm-11pm

No surprise that our newest member – who just so happens to have a German-born brewmaster – has made the list! GOAT Lab will pour beers from their own year-round German lineup along with beers from other local breweries for more of a festival feel. The party will also include lots of live music, plus all proceeds benefit the NWA Food Bank!

Oktoberfest Celebration 2022 at Puritan Coffee & Beer
Friday, October 14th | 6-11pm

The party’s already happening at Puritan, where Oktoberfest prices are in effect from September 16 to October 31 – just bring in your Puritan stein from a previous Oktoberfest event or purchase one at the brewery to get a 20oz pour for a 16oz price. The big celebration happens on October 14th, where you can join in on stein hoisting, hammerschlagen, and beer pong tournaments. Based on years past, there’s sure to be plenty of excitement!

Marzen to your favorite Fayetteville Ale Trail Brewery for a fresh fall pour while they last! And maybe an Oktoberfest party or two to ring in the new season, of course. Share all of your beerventures with us on social by using the hashtag #FayettevilleAleTrail – and most of all: Happy Oktoberfesting, friends. 🍻
